Day 1: Write down why you trade
One paragraph, in your own words. Keep it where you can see it at the start of every session.
Days 1 to 7
Week 1: Set the rules
Write the rules you will trade by, before you risk anything.
One paragraph, in your own words. Keep it where you can see it at the start of every session.
Choose one fixed percent of capital you are willing to lose on a single trade. Write the number down and do not change it this month.
Take one chart, mark where the stop belongs, and work out the quantity that keeps the loss at your fixed risk. Do the maths on paper.
Decide the loss that ends your day. Write the number and the time you will close the terminal.
Columns: date, setup, entry, stop, size, rule followed yes or no, and one line of notes.
Describe the single setup you will study this month: what must be true to enter, where the stop sits, and when you leave.
Read the rules back to yourself. Cut any rule you know you cannot follow on a busy day.
Days 8 to 14
Week 2: Log the evidence
Collect honest data on what you do, not what you meant to do.
No gaps. A trade you did not log is a trade you cannot review.
Save the picture that made you act, with your marks on it. You will need it at review time.
One column, two values. This is the number the rest of the month works on.
For each one, write the rule that was missing and the rule that would have stopped it.
Scroll back, mark entries and stops by hand, and record what the setup asked you to do each time.
Pick a fixed window for the day. When it ends, close the terminal, even mid session.
Count the trades that broke a rule, and name the single rule you broke most.
Days 15 to 21
Week 3: Hold the line
Practise following the plan when the session is uncomfortable.
Print the entry conditions. If one line is unticked, the trade does not happen.
Watch the session, mark the setups you would have taken, and place nothing.
Every position, every time. The stop goes in first, then the position.
Same setup, same rules, smaller risk. Write down what changes in how you behave.
Rebuild it step by step. Separate the quality of the decision from the outcome.
List what you check, in order, and how long it takes. Then run it as written.
Divide the trades that followed every rule by the total. That percent is this month scoreboard.
Days 22 to 30
Week 4: Make it repeatable
Turn the month into a routine you can run without thinking about it.
Grade the decision, not the result. An A means every rule was followed.
Let the open settle, run your checklist, and act only after the window closes.
Read it in one sitting and mark the mistakes that repeat.
Same rules, different instrument. Note where the setup does not travel.
Risk per trade, daily loss limit, maximum open positions. One card, on the desk.
Log both for a week, then look for the pattern behind your worst sessions.
Process only: rules followed, rules broken, and the one thing you will change.
Trades logged, rule following percent, the rule broken most, and the habit you held longest.
Keep what you followed, delete what you did not, and start again tomorrow.
Take the plan with you
All 30 days as one text sheet, with your ticks and both streaks carried across. Useful when you want the plan on paper, or on a second device, because the ticks above live in this browser only.
How to use this plan
One task a day, in order. Tick a day only after you have actually done it, because the point of the month is an honest record, not a full checklist. The plan is self paced, so the next unticked day is always waiting for you at the top of this page.
Your streak counts calendar days on which you ticked at least one task. Today counts the moment you tick something, and leaving today untouched does not break anything. Skipping a whole day does: the current streak restarts at 1 the next time you tick a task, while your longest streak stays on record.
Everything is stored in this browser only, under a single key. Clearing site data, or using a different device or a private window, starts you from an empty plan.
This plan is education about process and risk discipline. It is not investment advice, it contains no buy or sell calls, and it makes no claim about profit, returns, or a win rate. Trading carries risk, including the loss of your capital.
Watch: why thirty days
What changes when you commit to a month of process work instead of chasing the next setup.
